Record Number of Jews Visit the Temple Mount

The Temple Mount, in Jerusalem, is controlled and managed by the Jordanian owned "Jerusalem Islamic Waqf" saw a record number of Jews visit this year. 50,000 Jews visited with more expected to make the pilgrimage ahead of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, which begins September 25th. Jews have limited access to the Temple Mount. They are only allowed to visit during a 5- hour period on weekdays only.
